Paprika is made from mild bell peppers that have had their seeds removed. Once cleaned and smoked over hard wood the pepper is ground into a fine powder. The origins of Paprika are not certain, but it is theorized that Paprika Peppers were discovered by the Spaniards during their endeavors to Mexico during the sixteenth century. Actual Paprika was developed in Hungary after the Peppers migration through Europe.
