This dried brown sea vegetable grows wild on coastlines around the South-Pacific. Known for its rich compilation of fiber and minerals this vegetable has been widely used in Japan and China as a mainstay in their cuisine. Once it is rehydrated it takes on the appearance of black noodles. Serve over rice or mix into dishes to give a fibrous body.
