Korintji Cinnamon is the bark of an Indonesian Evergreen tree. This bark can be harvested every 3 to 6 months. This cinnamon has an essential oil content of 3-4% creating a more concentrated flavor. Use Korintji cinnamon wherever a little spice is needed. This flavorful spice is best suited for pies and rolls in the United States, but is also used in such dishes as curries, spiced meat, and different rice dishes around India and the Middle East.
